Poll Results: Where Fly Fishing Will Happen in 2021
THANKS to everyone who participated in our first mini poll! The results helped us answer this question: How far will our pent up wanderlust take us this fly fishing season? Turns out that for most of us, it won't be far at all. Or put another way, we're more excited about exploring the fishing in our own backyards than we are about flying to distant realms. The question was "Which type of fly fishing are you more likely to do this season than you were in 2020?" Here are the results: 47.7% plan to fly fish on their local river or lakes 38.1% plan to drive more than 3 hours to fish a new or favorite spot 14.2% plan to fly to a destination to fish, either in or outside the country Congratulations to Nick Romito of Tennessee for being the lucky respondent who won our drawing for a copy of John Gierach's "Dumb Luck and the Kindness of Strangers"!
