Hi everyone! Happy Holidays! Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a New Year filled with health, happiness and prosperity!

The Art Room will be CLOSED from Tuesday, December 25th through Tuesday, January 1st and will re-open on Wednesday, January 2nd. Monday, December 24th hours will be from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m.

We will also be CLOSED on Mondays for the month of January…

Many thanks to you all who joined us at the Art Room Christmas party last Saturday! It was fun and delicious – and thank you all for bringing your specialty goodies to share with us!

We have some very fun SALES going on today through closing on Monday, December 24th afternoon!!! It’s our year end inventory reduction SALE TIME!!! ALL scrapbooking paper (not cardstock, sorry) is half price!!! ALL rubber stamps, mounted and unmounted, are half price!!! ALL sale wood mounted rubber stamps in the back hallway of the shop, are only
$1.00 !!! And now, everything on the dollar sale table is .25 !!!

Now for the Art Room schedule…

Tuesday, January 15th from 1 till 3 p.m. -
We are very blessed and very excited to have local artist Diane Orcutt here at the shop to instruct us on the “Acrylic Pour” method! You will create your very own awesome canvas
(5 ½ x 12 ) full of delightful color! Class fee is $30.00. Please preregister, prepay, and we will let you know what you’ll need to bring…This is going to be so much fun!!!

Saturday, December 22nd from 10 a.m. till noon –
Saturdays, January 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th from 10 a.m. till noon -
“FREE Make & Takes!” Come join us for some wonderful classes featuring paper crafting! All-occasion cards on the agenda! It‘s a FREE class, truly! You don’t need to sign up and you don’t need to bring a thing! Let’s play!
Thursday, December 20th at 1 p.m. –
“Thursdays at 1!” class is fun! A “Quick & Easy Christmas Card!” will be this Thursday, December 20th. It’s a beautiful card that may be sent for Christmas or anytime all winter long! Sample is on display here at the shop and on fb. Class fee is $5.00. Please preregister, prepay, and bring your basic kit, including adhesive. Items to purchase for your basic kit are available here at the Art Room if you need them…

Thursdays at 1 p.m. will continue in January-
Thursdays, January 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st at 1 p.m. -
Class fee will be $5.00 and we will be creating winter cards and valentine cards or mini projects. Please preregister, prepay, and bring your basic kit.

More great news! We are very happy to announce that Marsela will be back here at the Art Room with her cubby full of “Art to Wear!” and “Scrapaganza!” Look for her fun stuff mid-January 2019!

Anjelica stops by the shop every week or two and brings some awesome additions to her “Vintage Wardrobe!” Come see all the unique, one-of-a-kind vintage hats! Perfect for holidays, weekends, weddings or any time at all! Stop by and try on one of these beauties! She also has many lovely floral dresses and gorgeous vintage jewelry and accessories! You don't want to miss out on any of these classic styles….

There’s lots of new handmade holiday jewelry here at the shop from Mary, Sue and our newest creative friend Anamay! Anymay has brought us some wonderful necklaces, bracelets, earrings and greeting cards! Come see!

When asked to bring your “basic kit” to class, that includes your:
bone folder
ruler
personal paper cutter
brayer
uhu glue stick
tombow or art glitter liquid glue
pop dots
1/8 th inch, ¼ inch and/or ½ inch double stick tape
Archival Jet Black permanent ink pad
sanding tool/ sandpaper
scissor/detail scissor
scotch tape
exacto knife
old shirt or apron to get messy
If you do not have all supplies, we have them available for purchase.
