Hey fam,

It's been a minute! Life has been lifing so thanks for bearing with me. I hope y'all are living life like it's golden.

Firstly, rest in power to rap icon Coolio who died of a heart attack at age 59 this week. It truly feels like we're losing so many giants. Let's always remember to generously give flowers in both life and death.

Speaking of, let me go ahead and give flowers to John Boyega for being a rare example of a Black actor who constantly and publicly praises Black women. Go ahead and read Ruth Etiesit Samuel's piece on his stance that he only dates Black women.

The Library of Congress invited Lizzo to play former President James Madison's flute from 200 years ago. She twerked while doing it which is historic in itself. And Of course, white people are mad about it and need to get over themselves.

And if you didn't get the news, Megan Thee Stallion is launching a mental health website to help fans get access to therapy. Cause Lord knows we all need it.
