MEGA TECH MERGER ALERT: IBM buying Red Hat in deal valued at $34B

IBM’s $34 billion planned purchase of software maker Red Hat is the largest in Big Blue’s history. The acquisition would “enable companies to securely move all business applications to the cloud,” IBM said on Sunday.
