We just put the finishing touches on the latest issue of Digiday Magazine. The focus of this issue is our first-ever list of Digiday Changemakers— 50 people making media and marketing more modern on a daily basis. The list includes everyone from the head of BuzzFeed's blockbuster food spinoff Tasty, to fashion entrepreneurs, to activists keeping brands woke. We profile each of those leaders in this issue. We also took a deep dive into how media and marketing are evolving in other ways. In media, Sahil Patel looks at how NBCUniversal is using its relationship with BuzzFeed to foster change in its own organization. The outstanding question is whether this ends up leading to a marriage. In marketing, Shareen Pathak argues that marketers need to foster change in media since the blame for many of the nettlesome issues — fraud, ad overload and more — lies directly at the feet of brands. The magazine is available exclusively to members of the Digiday+ community. Join today for access to this premium content as well as a full set of member benefits. Become a member |
