Medical marijuana in New Iberia

by Adam Daigle | Acadiana business editor

Good morning, Acadiana business news readers. Let's get to the headlines.

Medical marijuana in Acadiana is expanding. Pharmacist Eric Vidrine, who co-founded The Apothecary Shoppe in Lafayette and has the only license to dispense medical marijuana in Lafayette, is opening an office in New Iberia. The ribbon-cutting is happening probably as you are reading this.

He also has plans to move his Lafayette location to building planned for a site near the intersection of Ambassador Caffery Parkway and Ole Colony Road.

Check out the story here.

Thanks for reading and have a great day
