Launch of the Global Humanitarian Overview 2022

When: 2 December 2021, 9:00-10:30 CET

WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus will join the high-level panel at the global launch of the Global Humanitarian Overview 2022 in Geneva on 2 December 2021.

The Global Humanitarian Overview (GHO), published by OCHA, is the world’s most comprehensive, authoritative and evidence-based overview of the current state and future trends in humanitarian action.

The global launch in Geneva will be followed by sequential launches in Berlin, Brussels, London, Stockholm and Washington, D.C., all on the same day. The launch events will highlight the key themes and urgent priorities covered in the Global Humanitarian Overview 2022.

The overarching theme of the launches is climate change and humanitarian action.

The theme of the global launch panel in Geneva is Climate Change and Responding to a more Challenging Humanitarian Landscape.
