This ‘sensitive’ wristband can tell Imec engineers and psychiatrists at KU Leuven have joined forces to uncover the link between our mental health and the physiological signals of our bodies. Their solution is in advanced wearable technology that uses sensors to measure heartbeat, skin temperature and skin conductance. The ‘Chill Band’ is designed to monitor people for a longer period of time and during their daily activities, offering objective data to help prevent mental problems. |
