Good morning! We made it to midweek. Following my old weatherman’s hunch, I rushed home from work and spent part of yesterday afternoon mowing and trimming my grass. Within a few hours of wrapping up my yard work, the storms moved in. Whew! That was close. While it was a stormy evening, I was able to fire up my grill, keep it lit in the rain and grilled a giant steak. I’m sure some of my neighbors were hearing the heavy rain on their rooftops, smelled smoky meat and wondered who the soaked chef was. He...was me. ;) Leslie Update: The pictures of her vacation in Hawaii look amazing. All the pics she’s posted include sunshine and smiles.
