Democratic mayoral and City Council president hopefuls fielded questions from the community at a recent forum hosted by the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore. I attended the convening, where four mayoral candidates addressed issues such as green spaces, recycling, support for small businesses, workforce development and Baltimore's potential as a tech hub.

• The Dunbar College and Career Readiness program at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School celebrated Kaden Johnson's achievement of passing his EMT final exam, marking the first pass in seven years. His parents are Tyron and April Harper from Harp Vision. Congrats! [Dunbar High School]
