Council, mayor at odds: The City Council clashed with Mayor LaToya Cantrell's office Thursday on two fronts: It repealed an emergency declaration she filed the day before to install her choice for trash pick up in the French Quarter and overrode her veto of $20 million for Tulane University's efforts at the former Charity Hospital.
Fishkill: A new report shows the commercial catching of menhaden in the Gulf of Mexico doesn't have as much impact on the populations of redfish and other species as feared. But many say there's still cause for concern, as Mike Smith reports.
