Please join us on Wednesday, May 18 at 1 p.m. ET, when Dr. Michelle Y. Martin of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center will give a virtual lecture on Well-Being and the Economic Burden of Disease: What Are We Learning From Cancer Survivors?

A major area of stress for cancer survivors is finances, such as stress from increased medical costs and possibly reduced income and work productivity. Dr. Martin will talk about her role in a new initiative to advance research on the impact of the economic burden of disease on emotional well-being. She will draw on her experience studying cancer survivors and the stress from financial problems related to their illness.

Dr. Martins lecture is part of our spring 2022 Integrative Medicine Research Lecture Series. This virtual event is open to everyone, and registration is not required.
