On Friday, Sammy J announced that Charlie Pickering will join the ABC Radio Melbourne team next year to present Friday Breakfast, with Sammy returning to the Monday to Thursday shows.

A celebrated musician, songwriter and artist, Uncle Archie was a proud Gunditjmara and Bundjalung Senior Elder. The state memorial service will be a chance to pay tribute to his contribution to music and as an activist for the rights of indigenous Australians.
