Masked man on minibike flees from police; ex-girlfriend suspected of breaking into home: Brook Park police blotter
An unidentified man wearing a ski mask and black clothes and riding a minibike led police on a vehicle chase at about 2 a.m. July 1. Also, a resident called police at 2:30 p.m. June 28 and said someone had tried to break into his house.

Suspect throws a punch and flees from Game On: Avon Lake police blotter
On June 28, police responded to Game On for a fight. A person punched a patron and fled. Officers were able to identify a suspect and completed follow-up investigation.

Drunk woman hurt after banging her head against officer’s window: Olmsted Falls police blotter
On July 4, an officer was flagged down by person reporting a drunk woman in the street. She was located at the Bagley Road and Brentwood intersection. She was detained and refused to cooperate with officers. While being transported to Strongsville Jail, she repeatedly hit her head on the cruiser window. The officer stopped at a gas station and a medic arrived to transport her to the hospital. She was cited.

Drunk woman gets stuck after driving car onto a rock: North Ridgeville police blotter
Police were dispatched to Century Tavern on July 3 for a report of a drunk woman who drove onto a rock and was stuck. She was arrested and charged.

Police assist in catching burglary suspects: Russell Township police blotter
As seen in this week’s Russell Township police blotter, officers responded 7:59 a.m. July 11 to a house to help Geauga County sheriff deputies with a burglary in progress in Newbury Township. The effort netted two suspects who were apprehended without further incident.
