Use your emoji-nation It's already summer, but there's a little extra something to look forward to this weekend. World Emoji Day is coming up on Saturday. Since emojis give us so much, the powers that be at the world governing body of emoji known as the Unicode Consortium released something today: A draft of the new emoji they want to add to the officially-sanctioned lineup when Emoiji 14.0 is released in September. Among the proposed additions is a collection of new icons promoting racial and gender-inclusivity, an X-ray, a disco ball, a tire and a playground slide. Plus, beans. It's not a done deal yet.
