MSNBC host Joy Ann Reid has issued an apology on her show AM Joy this morning, after anti-LGBTQ statements were found on her old blog, The Reid Report. When the reports first surfaced, Reid alleged that that they were the results of a cyber attack, but she said today that cyber security experts have not yet been able to prove that a hack allegedly occurred.

There were many big announcements that came out of CinemaCon 2018 last week, including Fox's plans for a new film based on the popular Choose Your Own Adventure series of books. The upcoming movie will allow audiences to choose what happens next via an app on their smartphones. Fox has partnered with Kino to create an app called CtrlMovie, with an eye towards releasing a series of app-enabled films.

Michelle Pfeiffer is close to closing a deal to star in Maleficent 2 as the queen. Pfeiffer would join Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning in the sequel, alongside new cast member Ed Skrein (Deadpool). Pfeiffer would be playing the queen in the sequel to the 2014 fantasy film, which was a massive hit that grossed $758.5 million worldwide.
