As we welcome March, a season of renewal and creativity, exciting artistic opportunities and inspiring exhibitions await! Agora Gallery is delighted to present Close Encounters, a compelling group exhibition on view from March 1 to March 25, 2025. Showcasing a diverse array of contemporary artists, this exhibition delves into the intricacies of human connection, shared experiences, and the ever-evolving ways we engage with the world around us—both in fleeting moments and lasting impressions. Featuring an eclectic mix of painting, sculpture, digital art, and mixed media, Close Encounters highlights a rich spectrum of artistic perspectives and techniques. From bold abstractions to deeply expressive figurative works, each piece serves as an invitation for reflection and conversation, exploring themes of identity, intimacy, and cultural intersections.

Springing ahead, Agora Gallery is excited to step into the vibrant art fair season, returning to the New York Affordable Art Fair’s spring edition at the Metropolitan Pavilion from March 19–23, 2025. This year, we proudly present a curated selection of original contemporary artworks by six talented American and European artists. The exhibition will feature a diverse range of mediums, including mixed-media collages, paintings and photography. Join us at Booth #E15!

Celebrating Women in Art

March is National Women’s History Month, a time to honor the remarkable contributions of women—past and present. At Agora Gallery, this celebration is especially meaningful, as our gallery was founded by a visionary female artist, Miki Stiles, with the mission of creating a platform for emerging artists worldwide.

For over 40 years, we’ve championed diverse artistic voices, fostering a space where creativity knows no bounds. This month, we continue that legacy by spotlighting incredible women artists whose work inspires, challenges, and redefines the art world.

Join us in celebrating women in art, creativity, and history—because every brushstroke tells a story.
