Hello,

Monday lunchtime is when we round-up the main headlines from the weekend that you might have missed.

A man was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition after he was knocked down last night.

Police and ambulance crews rushed to the scene after the man, aged in 60s, was struck by a car.

Elsewhere, police are also investigating an incident which led to the closure of a sports and social club at the weekend.

Crime Scene Investigators were called to the scene on Sunday morning but the full details of the incident have not been made available at this stage.

Shoppers in Chorley got a shock on Saturday when a fire in a shop closed a major stretch right in the heart of the town centre.

Fire experts are investigating the incident at the Rymans stationery store.

Finally, we’ve got all the action from PNE’s big win at Norwich on Saturday, including the best shots of your smiling faces from the away end.

Thanks for reading,

Adam
