Making Use of a Coat Rack in Summer

The hall coat rack was not serving much purpose after I removed the coats so I started using it to hang onions, potatoes, plastic bags and my apron.

I made this mini shelf out of popsicle sticks with the intent to display mini figurines sent to me by my Japanese pen pal. When placed next to a window or lamp, it casts wonderful dimensional shadows, really showing off what's on display. This is a great craft for all ages.

These Rellenos are out of this world! A friend of my mom, who had a restaurant for over 60 years, taught my mom years ago how to make these, then my mom taught me too. I just made them again a few nights ago. My husband loves them, and that makes making these such an enjoyabe thing for me too.

Lately, I have been snapping quick photos of all the items I place in my grocery cart that I will be purchasing because accidental price errors can occur at check out.
