The weather may be damp in much of Scotland now, but in parts of the Highlands, wildfires have been raging for days. And the police and fire service have now launched a joint investigation into the cause, as the force says a large area of the countryside has been badly affected.

The BBC is launching a new three-part series of Murder Case. As our Arts and Culture Correspondent Jane Bradley writes, the cases of Tony Parsons, who went missing on a charity cycle ride in 2017, and Kiesha Donaghy, who was bludgeoned with a weapon in her own home, will be examined.
