A retired sex crimes prosecutor in East Baton Rouge Parish says she recalls handling many cases that originated at one of the bars in Tigerland. A second-degree murder suspect is trying for a third time to have a different judge hear his trial. One judge called Brandon Boyd the "worst of the worst" after a 2014 killing, and an appeals court judge call him a threat to society five years later. As Boyd prepares for a retrial, he wants to have someone else preside. There's still time to take advantage of a great deal.
