Meet the 2023 Aspen Ideas Festival Fellows

We’re thrilled to announce the 2023 cohort of Fellows, a group of leaders from 58 cities in 30 U.S. states and nine other countries that have been selected for their work, accomplishments, and ability to transform ideas into action. At the Festival, these rising stars will bring forward innovative solutions to the complex problems discussed on our stages and join a vast network of past Fellows whose big ideas are making the world a better place.

Meet Olivia Issa, program lead for the Refugee Resettlement Initiative at the National Association of System Heads, who’s working to encourage higher education institutions across the U.S. to support refugee-background students and families. “Civic engagement and campus diversity open up a world of opportunity for a new flow of ideas and perspectives that will undoubtedly shape the next generation of leaders,” she says.
