PEORIA - The legacy of Big John Robinson, Peoria's late and legendary master of barbecue ribs, is on the brink of fizzling away.

MORTON - Four more students have COVID-19 in Morton Unit School District 709.Further, 40 other students, along with 12 staff, are quarantining in the wake of coming in close contact with a COVID-19 patient or showing symptoms of the disease, the district said in its weekly report.

The U.S. earlier this week recorded the most COVID-19 deaths in a single day since mid-May - nearly 1,500.Meanwhile, coronavirus cases in Illinois surpassed 200,000.
