Max Johnson, Garrett Nussmeier to split reps in practice
It's a shame LSU couldn't pull out an upset win over Alabama. As we reviewed the tape Sunday, it was clear the Tigers did almost everything they needed to shake up the college football landscape, particularly on defense. But LSU couldn't score enough points, and instead of celebrating one of the biggest upsets of the season, the team was left with a slight moral victory for playing as well as it did with so many players out. Our film review this week started by diving into what LSU's defense did to hold Alabama to a season-low 20 points. Then we focused on the offensive issues in the fourth quarter that prevented LSU from retaking the lead. Lastly, we examined the fake punt. LSU now has to win at least two of its next three games to reach bowl eligibility and avoid its first losing season since 1999. Next up: Arkansas. Thanks for reading, Wilson Alexander |
