Also: See the photos from Wednesday night's championship celebration Four of the 12 school districts within the nine-parish Baton Rouge area have approved permanent teacher pay raises, ranging from $1,200 in West Feliciana Parish to $4,000 in Iberville Parish. And the state is asking voters on April 18 to approve a constitutional amendment that would fund an even larger permanent pay raise of $2,250 a year for teachers and $1,125 a year for support workers. The Metro Council granted its approval Wednesday night for the Baton Rouge Police Department to be featured as part of "On Patrol: Live" starting in mid-July.
