Toyota recalls 381,000 pickup trucks over concerns parts could fall off rear axles
The recall, which affects certain 2022 and 2023 Tacoma mid-sized pickup trucks, was prompted by discovery that welding debris left on the ends of the rear axle assembly during manufacturing could cause certain retaining nuts to to loosen and fall off over time, potentially causing a part to separate from the axle.
