Beginning today and on future Thursdays, Mount Bohemia will let you ski for free (during certain times) ... as long as you have a receipt that shows you spent $50 or more from any Lume Cannabis Company location. 

The coolest place to fat tire

Fat tire bikers can rip around a frozen U.P. lake this winter in one of Michigan’s top biking destinations.

The purchase of new grooming equipment will now allow for groomed fat bike trails around Calumet Lake within Calumet Lions Park, whose trail system was previously only open to ski and snowshoe traffic! Huzzah! 

Lantern-lit Snow Moon hikes!

Some of Michigan’s state parks are adding some winter magic to their trails this February by hosting special events like lantern-lit night hikes, guided snowshoeing, and even a stroll under the full Snow Moon.

Hey, wolves, hey

Michigan’s Upper Peninsula is home to more than 600 gray wolves spread across 136 organized packs. And new numbers show the population remained stable there for more than the last decade. Good job, wolves.
