Louisiana Supreme Court deals blow to child abuse survivors

Supreme Court: The Louisiana Supreme Court dealt a major blow to possibly hundreds of survivors of child sexual abuse – and a win for the Catholic Church – when it deemed unconstitutional a 3-year window for filing legal claims, John Simerman reports.

Immigration: Since the government formalized its process for granting deportation protections to immigrant whistleblowers, some 1,000 immigrant workers have been protected, the feds say. But Louisiana and Mississippi workers say many have not, James Finn reports.
