Diversion canceled: The largest coastal restoration project in the state's history has officially been canceled. Mike Smith reports on what's next now that the centerpiece of the state's 50-year coastal masterplan is dead.
Charges filed: Six months after a visiting TV journalist in town for the Super Bowl was found dead in a Kenner hotel room, the Jefferson Parish District Attorney's Office has filed charges against three suspects. Michelle Hunter has the story.
Forest Rose: Former Times-Picayune journalist Chris Rose made his name telling the stories of New Orleans in his regular column, then achieved even greater recognition giving voice to his adopted city's post-Katrina frustrations.
