Feature Photo Credit: DirectVelo Powering over a rolling route that included 130 metres of elevation gain throughout the 14 kilometres, alongside a good mix of technical corners and power sections; Lorenzo Milesi stormed to Development Team DSM’s second stage win of the week at Triptyque des Monts et Châteaux. Milesi got his time trial underway, bursting out of the starting gates. Riding the pacing plan to perfection, he stormed around the course and crossed the line in a time of 17 minutes and 30 seconds; a time which was 24 seconds better than the closest finisher at that moment. A nervous 50 minute wait followed for Milesi in the hot seat as one-by-one riders tried and failed to beat his time. Some came close, but no one was able to topple the Development Team DSM rider and with all the other competitors across the line, Milesi was crowned victorious; taking his and the team’s second win of the race.
