Duke foundation offers grants to improve natural places

The Duke Energy Foundation is inviting S.C. nonprofit organizations focused on preserving and promoting the natural world to apply for grant funding to support their efforts. The foundation also said a portion of its funding will be earmarked for public park and trail enhancements.

Lander University unveils health promotion degree, survey

Lander University will introduce a new Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Wellness next August while also conducting a joint survey with College of Charleston's business school to study the pandemic's impact on state restaurants.
