Hello Litquakers, It’s time for us to emerge from our post-festival hibernation. We've got events to plan, classes to teach, etc. But first, we want to say THANK YOU! Litquake 2022 would not have been a success without the support of each and every one of you. Bringing hundreds of authors to 5,000+ people over the course of two weeks is a tall order, but standing amongst the crowd, seeing so many people touched by the power of the written word, makes it all worthwhile. Whether you volunteered to help us collect surveys and greet people at the door, read a piece of your work on stage, or attended a show, we are incredibly thankful you took the time to support literature, and hope you realize how essential you are to the fabric of this Bay Area community. If you missed a performance, don’t worry! A few full recordings are posted on our YouTube page, and we will have more footage from the festival available to view in the coming weeks. We’re also throwing several shows throughout Spring, hosting Elder Project classes year-round, and bringing you tons literary surprises that we can’t wait to reveal. Be sure to check your inbox every Tuesday and follow us on social media (@litquake) for the latest dispatches from the Litquake universe. Until next week! |
