The week's biggest real estate stories. Case Study House #10 has been sold by Kristen Wiig in a $3.9 million deal to “Emily in Paris” star Lily Collins. Built in 1947, the modernist home was designed by architect Kemper Nomland and his fellow architect son, Kemper Nomland Jr. The mini-compound includes a main house, a detached guesthouse and an outdoor swimming pool and spa. Elsewhere, businessman Lee Samson is asking a whopping $69 million for his oceanfront mansion on Malibu’s exclusive Carbon Beach. Samson, whose company is one of California’s largest operators of nursing homes, recently hired Richard Landry to remodel the 1970s house, which boasts 70 feet of shoreline frontage. |
