IES to Host LCA Webinar on Wireless Controls January 16, 2020 From 12-1 PM ET on January 16, 2020, the Illuminating Engineering Society will host a webinar on wireless lighting controls produced by the Lighting Controls Association. Wireless lighting control has matured to offer a powerful and versatile option for control communication. By replacing control wiring with radio signals, wireless devices and systems offer the same functionality and benefits while providing the distinctive benefits of installation cost savings and greater flexibility. With wireless control, the most advanced control systems can be implemented in both new and existing buildings. Presented by OSRAMâs Gary Meshberg, LC, CLCP, LEED AP, IES, outgoing chair of the Lighting Controls Association, the seminar will present the major types of wireless approaches, equipment, applications, protocols, and design and installation considerations. Webinar participants are eligible for one (1) IES Continuing Education Unit (CEU). Click here to register now.
