In anew commentaryinNature Medicine, all of us in the National Institutes of Health (NIH) leadership invite all of you in the research community to take advantage of the extraordinary resources made available by NIHsAll of UsResearch Program. Like several other population-based programs,All of Usis collecting extensive genomic and health data from large numbers of volunteers. However, theAll of UsResearch Program has the unique advantage of a highly diverse group of participants, half of whom are of non-European genetic ancestry. The diversity of theAll of Uscohort enables discoveries to be made that would not be possible with more narrowly focused datasets. By leveragingAll of Us,we can advance precision medicine for all populations. |
