"He was just a child," Derrick Cash's aunt said. "They left him out there with no regard to anything." Meanwhile, an 80-year-old man was jailed Wednesday on a charge of helping beat another man to death in the Leonida neighborhood, before he fled in a van driven by his granddaughter. GOING ASHORE: The Treasure Chest casino, docked on Lake Pontchartrain in Kenner since shortly after it opened in 1994, is moving onto land as part of a $90 million expansion.
