On 25 May a new European Union privacy regulation, called the General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR, will come into effect. This new rule will create improved transparency and control of the personal data that organisations and companies active in the EU have stored on you.
This law applies to SNV and your personal information in our records, even if you don't live in the European Union, because our organisation is registered in the Netherlands, an EU member state.
In practice, this rule requires us to ask every subscriber to our newsletter to reconfirm their subscription.
Providing your explicit consent will allow us to keep your personal data in our records and send you newsletters. Your data will not be used for purposes other than to inform you about SNV and our activities. You also have the right to opt-out at any time.
If you do not reconfirm your subscription or opt-out, you will no longer receive our newsletters and we will delete your information from our lists.
