Photo Credit: Michaël Gilson / DirectVelo Conserving energy in the early part of the stage, Development Team DSM chose their moment to strike at Tour de Bretagne today. Leo Hayter launched a vicious attack before riding solo to an incredible win, while the rest of the team policed the peloton and Tobias Lund Andresen won the sprint for a phenomenal one-two on the stage. Day two of racing at the Tour de Bretagne saw the peloton take on another rolling stage, with a tricky finish circuit in the town of Rosporden. Biding their time well, Development Team DSM had a plan and on the last categorised climb Hayter attacked out of the peloton. Bridging to the breakaway before going solo, Hayter measured his effort excellently while in the chasing peloton the team covered and disrupted the chase. Taking on the punchy climbs and sinuous turns Hayter pushed the pedals all the way to the finish, securing a brilliant win, while Lund Andresen rounded out a perfect day for the team by clinching the sprint for second place too.
