View this email in your browser Learning in Lockdown - developing the skills of your workforce Hi John With a Covid vaccine being rolled out, now is the time for businesses to look ahead and start to think about what skills they will need when some assemblance of normality returns. The need to acquire new digital skills is essential to our new working environment while Covid has created new challenges from an employee wellbeing perspective, which may have resulted in thinking about how you manage your workforce in the future.  Further questions you may wish to consider are: Has Covid-19 significantly changed my business which will impact on the skills I need within the workforce? Does my workforce currently have the right skillset for my business to recover and grow and become more resilient? We can also work with you to access funding opportunities and find the right training partner. Through our European funding project (Be More) we can provide up to 70% funding towards training costs. This can include training using a variety of online learning tools and videoconferencing facilities such as Teams, Zoom and WebEx for example.  Don’t forget, the ‘Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme’ makes it clear that staff can access training while furloughed so now may be an ideal time for you to put in place the training you need for your business.
