Hi,

I don't know about you, but I think 2020 will go down as the craziest year ever for art sales. COVID-19, a stalled global economy, political protests, social unrest, and the most contentious US presidential election in ages has made selling art harder than it ever was before.

My dad, who passed away some time ago, was not only my hero but the most insightful man that I ever knew. He shared something with me that I never forgot and has so much relevance to what's going on today.

My dad said that when times are darkest, you need to double-down on learning. He taught me that the only way to grow out of adversity is through the practical application of new-found knowledge.

My own experiences over the years have proven my dad right on more occassions than I can count. Whenever times got tough for me, I used it as an opportunity to learn and grow. Then I immediately applied what I learned to see how these concepts worked in the real world. Each and every time that I did, I found new success that led me back to better times.
