Calcasieu bridge: Landry announced Thursday a deal that would reduce the toll commercial truckers would pay to cross a rebuilt Calcasieu Parish bridge, Tim Boone reports. The deal secures local dollars for the bridge, money the state needed to find if it hoped to keep some $150 million in federal grants for that project.
