SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY Proverbs 23:26 "My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways." |
QUOTE OF THE DAY Brigham Young "Do you suppose the Lord cares anything about a man's farm? Nothing at all, for the whole earth is His. At His command it is gone, and the man who claimed possession of any part of it knoweth not whither it had gone. "But what does the Lord want of His people? It is written in His Bible, and is said to be the word of the Lord, 'Son, give me thine heart.' Without it, you are not worth anything; with it, He has your gold and silver, your houses and lands, your wives and children, your all" (Journal of Discourses, 18:214). |
