Latter Day Light DAILY DEVOTIONAL July 17, 2016 Book of Mormon Promises |
SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY Moroni 10:32 "Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God." |
QUOTE OF THE DAYEzra Taft Benson "These promises--increased love and harmony in the home, greater respect between parent and child, increased spirituality and righteousness--are not idle promises, but exactly what the Prophet Joseph Smith meant when he said the Book of Mormon will help us draw nearer to God" (Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Ezra Taft Benson, p. 131).
