Latter Day Light DAILY DEVOTIONAL July 1, 2017 The Way, The Truth, The Life |
SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY John 14:5-6 "Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." |
QUOTE OF THE DAY David O. McKay "The gospel of Jesus Christ is the crucible in which hate, envy, and greed are consumed, and good will, kindness, and love remain as inner aspirations by which man truly lives and builds. "Let men and women everywhere keep their eyes upon him who ever shines as a Light to all the world---for Christ is the Way, the Truth, the Life, the only safe Guide to that haven of peace for which people the wide world over are earnestly praying" (Teachings of Presidents of the Church: David O. McKay, p. 3). |
