Latter Day Light DAILY DEVOTIONAL April 29, 2017 Wheat and Tares |
SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY Doctrine & Covenants 86:7 "Therefore, let the wheat and the tares grow together until the harvest is fully ripe; then ye shall first gather out the wheat from among the tares, and after the gathering of the wheat, behold and lo, the tares are bound in bundles, and the field remaineth to be burned." |
QUOTE OF THE DAY Joseph Fielding Smith "Build up and strengthen the members of the Church in faith in God; goodness knows we need it. There are so many influences at work to divide us asunder, right among the members of the Church, and there is going to come, one of these days in the near future a separation of the wheat from the tares, and we are either wheat or tares. We are going to be on one side or the other" (Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Joseph Fielding Smith, p. 323-325). |
