VC in São Paulo, the next evolution of the Brazil Venture Investors Peer Exchange, is scheduled for the afternoon of November 29, 2016.Â
Created in partnership with Omidyar Network, Silicon Valley Bank, and Telefonica Open Future_ the program is held bi-annually for early-stage fund managers in Brazil. Sessions include:
>>David Thomas, Former Managing Director, Intel Capital Latin America, is participating in a transparent conversation about his 15+ year track record at Intel Capital.
>>True or False: There Are No Exits in Brazil. Leveraging trends derived from an original list of 250 digital M&A transactions in Brazil since 2010, participants will discuss liquidity in the Brazilian digital market, and what it says about the exit landscape for venture investors:

Call for Fund Manager

The Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF), member of the IDB Group, is supporting the creation of an Impact Investing Fund for Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. The MIF will act as anchor investor in this fund.Â
The MIF together with Acrux Partners, an impact advisory firm focused on responsible and impact investing in Latin America, are looking for a General Partner (GP). Candidates must have a proven track record of investing in startups and scaling up companies that are using innovative models to address pressing social and environmental problems, contributing in this way to the development of the impact investment markets in the three countries.
