Happy National Indigenous Peoples Day!

We have a lot to celebrate here at the National Screen Institute. The NSI Art of Business Management – Indigenous Edition students are currently completing their mentorship phase.

After 32 sessions covering topics such as the fundamentals of how to run a workplace, principles of human resources and production finance and distribution – these students are ready to take what they’ve learned and put it into action.

NSI Art of Business Management – Indigenous Edition is a four-month, part-time online training and mentorship program to help storytellers learn essential business management skills while creating a project plan for a feature film or web series they are currently developing.

Register now for the Indigenous Film Summit featuring NSI alumni

The Indigenous Film Summit has announced their 2021 online event schedule featuring panels, industry events and special guests. Registration is now open, and the event runs from June 23 to 25.

The National Screen Institute is the presenting partner of the Indigenous TikTok Panel Discussion. The discussion features panelists Danai Alexandar and Gia Pastion, and is moderated by TikTok influencer Sherry McKay. It takes place from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. CT on Wednesday, June 23.
