The festival is hosting virtual filmmaker Q&As throughout May. Tune in to hear alumni discuss their films and ask questions through an online chat.
The initiative aims to accelerate participants’ careers by providing a tailored professional development curriculum and access to networking opportunities with key industry buyers. All participants get full registration access to the BANFF World Media Festival which runs from June 14 to July 16.

Through this partnership, ISO and Netflix have supported a total of 49 projects with just under $1 million since 2019. This year, ISO and Netflix will put forth $390K of funding overall with $294K for the apprenticeship program and $96K for the cultural mentorship program.
