| NSI Features First-developed Venus gets international premiere at Cinequest Posted: 29 Jan 2018 11:48 AM PST NSI Features First-developed Venus, from writer/director Eisha Marjara and producer Joe Balass, will have its international premiere at Cinequest Film Festival in San Jose on March 3, 2018. Genders, generations and cultures collide in this comedy about the modern family unit, which follows a transitioning woman who discovers she’s the father of a 14-year-old boy. Also screening at the fest are Birth of a Family from Tasha Hubbard (NSI IndigiDocs, Featuring Aboriginal Stories Program) and The Go-Getters from Jeremy Lalonde and Jordan Walker (both NSI Totally Television). Cinequest Film Festival happens February 27 to March 11, 2018.
