NSI Features First-developed The Sun At Midnight gets US premiere at Bentonville Film Fest, Arkansas Posted: 04 Apr 2017 11:47 AM PDT NSI Features First-developed film The Sun At Midnight from Kirsten Carthew premieres in the US at Bentonville Film Festival in Arkansas on May 3. Bentonville Film Festival is a one-of-a-kind annual event that champions women and diversity in all aspects of entertainment media. It was co-founded by Geena Davis and runs from May 2 to 7, 2017. The Sun At Midnight tells the story of an unusual friendship between a hunter obsessed with finding a missing caribou herd and a teenage rebel who gets lost while on the run. • • • NSI Features First 2017 is funded by Presenting Sponsor Telefilm Canada; Supporting Sponsors Entertainment One, Super Channel, Corus Entertainment and Breakthrough Entertainment; NSI Core Funders are Manitoba Sport, Culture and Heritage and the City of Winnipeg through the Winnipeg Arts Council. New feature slated from Jeremy Lalonde and Jordan Walker Posted: 04 Apr 2017 11:40 AM PDT James vs. His Future Self, a new feature project from writer/director Jeremy Lalonde and producer Jordan Walker (both NSI Totally Television), is in pre-production. The sci-fi comedy follows James, an ambitious scientist determined to become the first time traveller, who is visited by an eccentric older man claiming to be his future self. Previously Jeremy and Jordan worked together on How to Plan an Orgy in a Small Town and The Go-Getters.
